Have you ever considered using that vast experience and detailed knowledge to help create and shape the game? Well if so, then you are in luck! The SWG:Legends Development Team is recruiting! If you think you have the basic technical skills to shape the future of SWG Legends, this is your opportunity!
As a Junior Developer, you will use your skills to help the development team to create new content and make changes in the game. It helps to have familiarity with the coding behind various in-game systems such as quest lines, basic mechanics of professions, combat mechanics, and collections. You have to be able to work as part of a team, and it's imperative that you be willing to learn, and focus on all areas of the game.
Junior Developers joining our team would ideally posses the following:
- Familiarity with Java
- OR the ability to learn a scripting language
- Ability to start and run a test server on your own VM
- OR familiarity with Linux systems
- Work with other teams when implementing ideas
- Troubleshooting Technical Issues
- Helping the QA/Dev team with testing new content and/or identifying bugs
We do ask that anyone that is interested in applying for this position is able to contribute at least 10 hours of free time per-week to the role. If you are interested in the role then follow the link below to complete an application form and well be in touch with you.
