What do you do for the project SWG Legends?
Social media management, helping to run events both in and out of game, giveaways, etc. If it’s something you see outside of the game, or something being actively run in game, it’s probably our team!
How did you come to possess these skills, education or self taught?
It’s a little bit of everything. I’m terminally online, so I see a lot of social media stuff often. I’m no professional, but I understand it. My graphical skills are all self taught, and my event things too. I like running things for people, but nothing professional.
Describe your typical day supporting Legends.
I check on the social media notifications throughout the day. If we’ve got something going on in game, there’s prep work of scripting, decoration, seeing if I will need other team member’s help. The events team is much more long form in their work, so a day to day never really fits!
What do you think your greatest contribution has been to Legends?
I’m not someone who can say that something is my “greatest contribution”, but there are certainly things I am proud of. I did a lot of legwork in taking what Talia had made many years ago for the New and Returning Player event (NARPE) and cleaning it up, and adding structure to it (on our end at least!). I can only sing praise for what Talia laid out before me, but it’s become my baby, and the Novice Player Event (NPE) moves on as strongly as ever!
I’ve also added a few funny emotes and stickers to the discord.
What would the other staff at Legends say to this; “Describe Muhen.”
Every member of the team is so welcoming, helpful, and kind. I don’t know what they’ll say, but anything good they might say can only be reflected back tenfold. Anything bad will go to my lawyer.

What has been the most difficult thing you’ve done supporting Legends?
I suppose I have been lucky enough to not be stuck with any of the hard stuff, at least it never felt like it. Probably one of the most hectic and time consuming times was we were hosting our NARPE/NPE event and we had such a gigantic turnout. Something like 250 people showed up, and we actually ran out of bags to give to new players! We had an all hands on deck afterwards making bags and trying to get our heads back above the water. We had a ton of both staff outreach, but community outreach as well. It was tough, but we came back stronger than ever.
How often do you actually get to play SWG?
I don’t play often anymore, my staff work is my devotion to the game. If I do though, I usually schlep around with some friends in the cantina, or go get rolled in Restuss.
What is your favorite thing to do in game?
Socialize Socialize Socialize. This game fosters social interaction like nothing else, and there’s nothing better than talking with people in it.
When did you start playing SWG, and describe that experience?
I started playing SWG in live, but only sparsely. I couldn’t convince my parents to pay my subscription at the time, so I would play whenever I came into a little extra birthday or Christmas money.
It was a dive into new and exciting things. There was so much to do, and so little direction on how to do it, so I felt like I could really explore. I also spent a good amount of time on the Test Center server at the time pvping.
