Aayn Ruor
Aayn’s back story
Aayn Ruor was a clone created from Jango Fett's first DNA test batch before the Clone War. He did not get the enhancements to make him grow faster or stronger. He was forgotten in a cytogenetic geonosian lab on Yavin IV. He was freed by Kiturato, a wookiee who was taken from Kashyyyk at a young age and experimented on in the same lab.
Aayn found a band of Mandalorians exiled on the Outer Rim. Here he apprenticed under Kebe Ruor who once was a Cuy'val Dar. Kebe taught Aayn the Mandalorian Way. Aayn adopted Kebe's surname and his clan armor color Purple as a sign of his solidarity with his new-found family.
He took the name Aayn which means "bittersweet' in Mandoa. Aayn is loyal, reliable, and trustworthy to those he calls friends. Aayn has settled and became Mayor of New Tarquinas on Lok. He is also the Guild Leader of NOVA.
You may find Aayn Ruor roaming the planets in search of a bounty or just playing with his pets.

This is the name of my main character on live. Aayn is a Mandalorian and wears his signature color of purple, green and gold. Aayn means Bittersweet in Mand’oa.

Aayn is the guild leader for NOVA guild on SWG Legends.
When I join SWG Legends in 2017, I met up with some fellow Tarquinian players I played with on live and join the TARQ guild. Later, we accepted other players from other servers. We eventually changed our guild name to NOVA to represent different factions and servers.
On live I was on the Tarquinas server and member of the Thyrsus Sun Guards with my real life friend Oheupo.

I live in Kentucky
How long did you play the live version of Star Wars Galaxies?
7 years. I started playing SWG in 2007 when my real-life friend invited me to play.
What does a typical Star Wars Galaxies day consist of for you?
I log in most days after work. I will look at my in game mail. Say hello to my NOVA guildies. Then enjoy doing in game PvE stuff like instances or whatever festival is going on, Sometime dealing with guild business. Most of all enjoying all the content in SWG and my SWG friends. I have especially enjoyed the new Bespin content and look forward to the other content coming out in the future. SWG is my self care from real life. I am a chaplain and ethicist in a level one children’s trauma center. Being able to set aside real life for a while and become Aayn Ruor helps me cope with the challenges and stresses of real life.
What was the race and profession of your very first character?
Aayn Ruor is my very first toon SWG On Live and on SWG Legends. He is a human bounty hunter/beast master aligned with the Imperial faction.
What is the one thing you’ve always wanted to be in Star Wars Galaxies that isn’t or is no longer?
I would love some Mandalorian content in SWG Legends. Mandalorian Themepark or instance would be awesome.
What other hobbies or activities do you take part in, other than playing Star Wars Galaxies?
I have collected the 3 ½ inch SW action figures and made movie accurate dioramas with them. I enjoy watchng SciFi movies (especially Star Wars) with my wife. Spending time with my wife is important as well. We are celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this year. I also enjoy spending time with friends and families and my little dachshund.
What race and profession is your main character?
Aayn is a human bounty hunter. My other alts are commandos and officer.
What do you like most about the profession you have chosen for your main character?
I am a big Boba Fett and Mandalorian fan. I like playing bounty hunter and on live you had to be a bounty hunter, commando, then later officer could wear Mandalorian armor. I also like pets and playing with them. Aayn has always been a bounty hunter/beast master. I enjoy being able to solo and contribute to groups. Occasionally, I will hunt PvP marks, but I enjoy being PvE the most.
What faction is your main character?
Imperial, I have a few rebel toons.
What is your favorite player owned ship?
On live I love my KSE Firespray. If a Rasorcrest ever gets introduced to SWG Legends, I will be flying that. In the meantime I am flying my N-1 Naboo Starfighter on my toon Di’n Djarin, my Imperial Commando.
What is your favorite ground vehicle?
Jetpack of course.
How did you choose your main character's name?
Aayn is based off my Liberian Name from when I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Liberia, West Africa. It is my African name spelled backwards, Nyaa. Aayn has special meaning to me, and I am glad to have it on SWG Legends. It was a bonus that I discovered that Aayn meant “Bittersweet” in Mand’oa.
What is your favorite planet and/or city and why?
Nyms, Lok. Something about the rustic, outlaw type of place attracts me. Aayn is mayor of New Tarquinas on Lok as well. I also like Mustafar and all the questlines and instances on this fiery planet.
What is your favorite NPC?
Boba Fett ever since it first saw him in the original Holiday Show in 1978. I am also a big fan of Mandalorians.
What are the most credits you have ever spent on purchasing a single item for one of your characters?
I rather not say, I spent millions if not billions on mutation pets over the years. My current favorite pet is my Horned Dune Kimogila that was a gift from several guildmates.
What do you like best about SWG Legends?
I enjoy the comradery of players and the developers. I found the community to be welcoming and like-minded. I love being able to play the original content and love the new content that SWG Legends staff have created. It is fun to once again be Aayn Ruor, Bounty Hunter/Beast Master running around the Galaxy in his signature Purple, Green, and Gold Mandalorian Armor once gain.
Describe your best experience playing Star Wars Galaxies.
My best experience playing is having fun with other guildies and players doing the instances and just laughing and having a good time escaping for a little while from the pressures and obligations of real life.
What is your favorite questline and/or place within Star Wars Galaxies and why?
I would have to say, Mustafar and Kashyyyk have been my favorite SWG questlines.
