Greetings Legends!
Over the last few weeks, we have been working hard with your Galactic Senate to update our posted policies and rulesets to help us foster a safe, fair, and fun environment for all players.

We worked to clear up the differences between Account Sharing and Multi-Account Abuse, and we are being more transparent about the actions taken when a violation is found.

This review expanded on the code of conduct, and cleaned up any language that was ambiguous. The individual policies are now more clear, and separate the in-game violations from the forum violations.

The idea here was to be more transparent in how we handle different situations, however, we do have the capability to escalate from warning to infractions and/or a ban depending on the severity of the incident.
Last but not least, we come to the Discord Enforcement update, which can be found with the current Discord Policy here: https://swglegends.com/discord-policies.php
When enforcing the SWG:Legends Discord Policy, SWG:Legends Staff will use a 3-Strike Policy, however SWG:Legends Staff may take any of the following steps at any time:
- On the first violation, the Discord user shall receive a warning, and they will receive a “Strike” warning on their forum account.
- On the second violation, the Discord user shall receive a 7 day mute from the SWG:Legends Discord Server, and they will receive a 2nd “Strike” warning on their forum account.
- On the Third violation, the Discord user will be permanently banned from the SWG:Legends Discord Server, and their forum account will be marked with the 3rd “Strike” warning.
Violations of the Discord Policy do not incur traditional infraction points, however warnings will be placed on forum accounts for tracking purposes.
All current SWG:Legends Discord Server users will receive a clean slate at the onset of this program. All previous warnings will be null and void, and will not count as strikes. This is NOT retro-active to users who have already been banned.
The following updates have also been made, and are effective immediately:
AFK Without a Macro: Our enforcement of this rule been changed. All first time offenders will receive a warning, and immediate removal from the area. This will allow us the opportunity to educate them on what they are doing wrong without locking their characters down for 24 hours. However, players will receive a 24-hour Sarlaac Trip on their 2nd Offense, and infraction points will begin to incur after that.
Spamming Chat without an AFK tag and/or more than once per minute: Our enforcement of this rule has also been changed. All first time offenders will receive a warning, and a temporary squelch. This will allow us the opportunity to educate the player on what they are doing wrong, and we will lift the squelch immediately after informing the player what they have done wrong. Once the player obtains their second offense, they will receive a 24 hour squelch, and all offenses after this incur a 24 hour Sarlaac trip as well as one infraction point.
