Greetings Legends,
A ship is the pride of a pilot and the galaxy has many ships for a hungry pilot to choose from. Do you sometimes find yourself wanting a little more with the aesthetics of your starship? Well we want to see some of your ideas! For this next community contest, we want to see your vision in this Starship Texturing contest. Maybe a new color scheme? Perhaps you’re longing for a special decal to really make your chassis pop? You’re encouraged to be creative!
We want you to submit your sketches/drawings/3D models of a ship texture that you’ve created! Bare in mind, this must be your unique creation, nobody else's. Nor anything existing within the Star Wars universe, including the expanded universe. There is a wide array of ships in the galaxy currently that could use more textures or some that lack textures entirely. Show us what you envision for a given starship.
Rules:
  • Your sketch/drawing/3D model of a starship texture must NOT be anything already existing within the Star Wars universe. This must be clearly stated when submitting an image of your entry.
  • For the sake of identifying your entry, you may title/name your concepts upon entry along with the style ship your texture is for.
  • (again)Anything you submit must not already exist within the Star Wars Universe.
  • You can submit more than one entry if you wish to.
  • After the deadline for the submissions period has passed, we (The SWG:Legends Team) will select 10 entries for YOU (the community) to vote on, with the top 3 voted entries being chosen as future in-game ship textures.
  • The voting period will be announced shortly (within a week) after the submissions deadline.
  • Your entries must be posted within this forum thread. Any images can be uploaded directly to the forum post/or hosted to imgur.com and then linked within this thread to help make it easily visible.
  • You have until Friday, August 14th at 10PM GMT USA/6PM EST USA/3PM PST USA before the submissions period ends! Voting will begin shortly afterwards and will be announced via Discord/Forum/SWG:Legends social media channels.
