Dark Tide Rising (DtR) is a gaming clan or guild. We originated from a division of another clan(IKC) that was active in the game Klingon Academy. In those days, 2001, we played JK2 forming DtR in 2002. From there the guild branched into JKA and some Freelancer as well as every other Star Wars game from Xwing versus TIE Fighter to Battlefront. We joined Star Wars Galaxies in the early days of the MMO and followed its eventual decline and destruction until 2011 or so when the group took a hiatus from each other and rested.....

In 2012, SWTOR began in earnest and DtR restarted its activity. We gathered together, each bringing one or another of the old crew. Teamspeak, a website, a JKA server, forums...soon it all began to grow and once again we were all back together, for the most part, doing what we love.

The Dark Tide is Imperial, or Sith, or Dark Side, depending on what we are playing. In the SWTOR universe where we are most active, members are proud soldiers and support personel of the Shadow Guard, a private unit of men and women each with their own reason for belonging to the Order.
Our members play with a sense of style and honor, we present ourselves with integrity and fairness in all things in order to enjoy what we do. The Dark Tide Rises to set itself as an example to all players in this our chosen genre.
