While most know the Events team for planning seasonal live events, we also offer help to those looking to plan and host events all year round! What We Need…
There are a few things we need to know when helping you execute your event to perfection. While every event is different, a good guideline on what to bring to the table is Who, What, When, and Where.
- Who: Who will be holding the event? Any additional points of contact you can give us are appreciated as well.
- What: Tell us your plans! The more detail you can provide, the better.
- When: When is the date and the time for your event?
- Where: Where will the event be held?
Got the basics? Then you’re ready to get in touch! Simply DM any Events staffer via Discord. Not able to access Discord? Not to worry! We are also reachable by social media or private message on the forums.
What’s On Offer?
After hammering out the basics, we can discuss what we can do to support your event. Here’s a few things we can provide!
- Character Appearances: The Events team can appear as lore characters upon request. There is a wide selection from both the Empire and Rebellion, everyone from Han Solo to Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader and the Emperor himself. You can write a script if you want us to say something specific, or we can write our own or ad-lib!
- Decoration/Effects: We have access to some tools to help you decorate or provide effects for your event. Let us help you with that extra bit of pizzaz!
- Publicity: We can publicize your event on social media! We’re on all the major platforms, and can reach a wide audience outside of Discord or the forums. More eyes means more potential people attending your event!
What We Can't Do
Unfortunately, there are a few things the Events team is unable to help with. Events staff are unable to provide anything that requires coding and/or design work. We also cannot provide assistance in any manner that would violate SWG: Legends Terms of Service.
